A Classic Cookie Asian Style: Asian Ginger Black Seed Butter Cookies

One of the most popular cookies in the world are the simple butter cookie. Throughout Asia, they take this cookie and do something delicious (and healthy) with it. They add ginger and black seeds, two of nature's super foods!

Since these are a "cut cookie" (meaning you use a cookie-cutter), the dough needs to be chilled after you mix it. For the best texture of the cookie, only chill the dough for 1 hour. It will also roll out much easier.

These are a very simple cookie to make at home and I think you will find them to be quite addictive. They go perfectly with a cup of tea or a quick afternoon treat.
