Classic Chinese: Hunan Chicken Lo Mein

One of the more popular dishes in Asian eateries is chow mein. One of the more popular Asian dishes in Asian homes is lo mein. What's the difference? The noodles!

Lo mein simply means it is made with a wheat flour noodle and usually a little thinner than the typical mein noodle. Lo mein noodles can be found is most markets either dried or cooked and sealed.

This is a very simple and quick dish to make at home. It is also loaded with nutrients and features some of the best food items you can put into your body, such as garlic, ginger and bok choy (a member of the cabbage family). We like to use chicken for our lo mein but you can use beef or pork.
