A Dim Sum Classic: Asian Meat Balls

There is nothing quite like biting into these delicious little spheres of exotically flavored ground pork. Whether served as a dim sum or a main course with steamed jasmine rice, Asian Meat Balls are a tasty joy to behold.

Unlike many variations of meat balls, the Asian variety does not rely on "filler" to give them their texture. These meat balls are full-on flavor. With each bite, you get a perfect fusing of savory and a slight tinge of sweetness.

For best results, you want to form your meat balls by hand and make them about the size of a ping-pong ball. To make forming them easier, keep your hands slightly wet.

This is a very simple dish to make at home. It is recommended that you only use ground pork and not a combination of pork and beef.
