Time for Dessert: Sauteed Bananas in Coconut Cream

There is more to the banana than a long pod you peel and then chomp down on. These wonders of nature make for some incredible cooking and even better naturally sweet desserts!

Believe it or not, this classic Asian dessert only takes a few minutes to make! It is a very simple process. You make a natural caramel with butter and brown sugar, then you lightly saute the bananas in the caramel for a few minutes. You not only get an incredible flavor but the bananas will stay rather firm.

Serve these sauteed bananas over a puddle of coconut cream. The coconut cream will slightly cut the sweetness of the dish and brings forth all of the natural flavors!
