From Vietnam: Vietnamese Spiced Clams and Shrimp Yakisoba

Aside from the immense health benefits, the most incredible fact about the food from Asia is that in most cases you can have a great dish in only a matter of minutes and to prove this case, Fusion Asiana presents this rather lavish dish from Vietnam simply called Vietnamese Spiced Clams and Shrimp with Yakisoba.

There is nothing special to learn here. It is really a basic stir-fry dish done in layers and as many American's like to refer to it, a "one-pan" meal. From start-to-fish, this dish only takes about 30 minutes to prepare.

We will be using a wonderful seafood combination of clams and shrimp. Both of these creatures of the sea compliment each other in both taste and texture. They will be stir-fried using a chili oil. You can make your own (the recipe and how-to pictures @ http://on.fb.me/1Tr4fh4) or you can buy it in the Asian section of your market.

Instead of rice, we like to use a yakisoba noodle for this dish. In the pictures we are using a Japanese version of yakisoba. They are thinner than the Chinese version. Yakisoba noodles come pre-cooked and can be found at all Asian markets or large supermarkets in the produce section.
