Leftovers! Everyone has them and is
always looking for a new way to use them. In Asian cuisine we take
leftovers and make an entirely new meal out of them. It is simple, quick
and quite delicious!
One of the most popular dishes to use
leftovers in is a simple chow mein. After all, all a chow mein really
is, is a quick stir-fry of a bunch of ingredients. It is perfect for
leftovers!
In the case of this dish we are using leftover
chicken. We simply remove the leftover chicken from the bone, shred it
and it is ready to use. If you're using beef, pork or lamb, simply cut
the meat into either thin slices or strips.
You can find an
assortment of Asian noodles at your local market. If you can't find
Asian noodles or you don't have time to shop, simply use any type of
Italian pasta.
