Taking Boring Asparagus to Spicy Heights with Thai Asparagus!

It is the time of the year when you start seeing asparagus at your local market. Asparagus is one of the favorite vegetables used in Asian cuisine and unlike many other cuisines, when it comes to asparagus the countries of Asia do not like boring!

Thai Asparagus is a perfect side-dish for any entree (main course) which includes a hint of spice. At Fusion Asiana, it is one of our favorite side-dishes with our seafood entree's.

When selecting your asparagus, you want vibrant green stalks which are rather thin. This means they are fresh and tender and they will also cook perfectly in the wok.

You can tame the "heat" of this dish by your choice of pepper. If you want it hot, use red Thai peppers. If you want it very mild, use small sweet red peppers .

This dish is both vegan and vegetarian friendly.
